We are looking for the finest talent to join our awesome Business Development team.  Are you up for the challenge?

Your Mission:

Whether it was a lemonade stand, Girl Scout cookies for your troop, or a lawn mowing service, you were born to sell.  Maybe you’ve been called a hunter, quota crusher, prospecting powerhouse, sales sultan, or spin seller - but at your core, you just love to sell.

You have a nose for uncovering new prospects and more importantly you know how to convert them in to opportunities.  You are consultative by nature.  For you it’s not a tactic, it’s just what you do.  And even though the cliché gets thrown around a lot, you’re consultative because you know when to speak and when to listen.  Especially when to listen.  You know the right questions to ask, how to strategically probe, and even though it’s over the phone, you connect with people effortlessly.  You’re motivated by quotas because they are fun to crush.  You enjoy being an individual contributor, but you also thrive in a team environment and always have your teammates’ backs.

If this has your wheels turning, and you want to be more than just an employee but an integral team member, then we definitely want to hear from you.

A Day in the Life:

  • You are curious by nature, and researching and prospecting new leads fuels you with an arsenal of information. Having the latitude to hunt for prospects anywhere in the U.S., and in any vertical, screams opportunity to you.
  • Smiling and dialing is not your style. You have phone stamina, but your calls are strategic and not about quotas.
  • You know how to hone in on the right decision makers. Gatekeepers are allies not obstacles. You know what to do once a prospect is on the phone and how to use their time wisely.
  • Qualifying is something you take seriously. Your time is valuable as well and you never want to spin your wheels on a prospect that isn’t a fit.
  • You know how to listen for pain points and connect them with meaningful solutions.
  • Webinars are not something you plug and play. You enjoy conducting them and treat each one like it’s own unique showcase.
  • Building a pipeline is fluid and owning a process is paramount to your success. You appreciate the importance of curating various deal sizes and timelines and you know how to move your deals forward.
  • When it comes to closing, you are not afraid to ask for the deal and lock it down.

Must haves:

  • Demonstrated track record of managing longer and complex sales cycles from prospecting to closing.
  • Must be able to work on site at ProcurementIQ’s West L.A. location.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven success dealing directly with various levels of clientele, including C-level executives.
  • A keen interest in proactively improving skills and knowledge through continuous learning.
  • Ability to travel domestically to occasional networking events and face-to-face meetings.

Nice to haves:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-8 years of sales experience, with a focus on B2B sales.
  • Experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn Navigator and Microsoft Office

And in Return…

  • You will be awarded with a competitive compensation package including a base, bonus and commission structure.
  • Full medical, dental and 401K benefits.
  • Very generous PTO and a flexible schedule.
  • A place you can really call home and a dynamic team who will have your back at all times.
